What preforms better, A Pentium 4 2.53ghz, or a Pentium Dual Core 2.16 ghz?

What preforms better, A Pentium 4 2.53ghz, or a Pentium Dual Core 2.16 ghz?

Answer:

I relatively desire a Pentium 4 to a duo middle! I quite have 7 computers, 2 are duo middle, and that i think of that they are sluggish, and particularly with living house windows Vista put in! A P4 2.8GHZ or extra effective with a minimum of 1GB RAM will burn circles around the duo middle CPU! :) The twin or duo middle CPU's bypass off information below specific situations, you won't be in a position to multiply the value of one via 2 and think of this is the computers entire speed for all time, it basically ain't so! :)
The Pentium Dual core would be better.
The Duel Core will be much faster the the older Pent D. But if you have the choice, may I suggest that you go one step better and use a Core 2 Duo if your motherboard will support it. It would be much faster then the Pent 4.
