Question:

When can I put my daughter forward-facing?

My daughter will be 10 months on March 6th and she outgrew her infant car seat. The straps do not fit if she is wearing anything more than her clothing which isn't working considering it is winter and I live in Canada. On top of the straps not being long or wide enough, her legs are way too long when we put her rear facing. She has to bend her knees because they touch the backseat. Ava was 30'' and 23 lbs at her 9 month appointment. Our car seat says it goes up to 30 lbs but I can't imagine her being in it for even a few more weeks. What can I do? I believe they said to at least wait until they are a year but she is just not fitting into it. Her poor legs are cramped. That can't be safe can it?

Answer:

Who cares the thing only has 230 HP. Bumping the speed limiter wont do you any good, the car is nice but it performs like a snail, although it does handle very well. But to answer your question yes, there is a Sport Mode in the Automatic transimision, it is a Steptronic Automatic Tranmission to be precise, if you shift the gear to the left once it will then be engaged into Sport Mode, if you shift the gear to the left and up once you will engage the Steptronic Mode.
