Question:

Will copper tarnish green in Colorado?

My friend says some professor told him that copper won't tarnish green in Colorado but I know that it does. I'm not saying it won't turn black or red like it dies in some circumstances; however I need to prove to them that it can.

Answer:

Copper will tarnish anywhere there is sulphur. If theres an outdoor plant and garden store or even a large greenhouse in the city limits. Simply mention you want to put your theory into practice by leaving a sample piece there.
