Question:

1984 Mercedes Benz 300TD s/w hydralic leveling system removed?

What kind of system can I use to replace an old hydraulic system which is mechanical What components can be used in replacing hydraulic suspension system?

Answer:

not all touring diesels came with leveling system if yours is so far gone it can't be fixed your best bet is to either purchase a clunker and swap the suspension out or purchase what you need from a salvage yard. at minimum you will need the springs and normal rear shocks from a 123 bodied sedan.or wagon
You could do what some people did with their 560SEL sedans. They took out the hydropneumatic self-levelling shocks and installed the regular shocks found in the 420SEL sedan. You could try installing regular shocks from a 300D sedan but I don't know how well they will handle the additional rear-end weight of the station wagon though.
