The electromagnetic bose suspension system for cars seems to eliminate several problems due to bad road conditions, also provides additional stability and comfort when fast turning or breaking. Why is it then that it hasn‘t hit the market already? is it due to its reliability? cost?Thank you in advance.
Very carefully clean the contact pins inside the rim of the camera mount and also clean the contacts on the lens mount. You could have either dirt or grease on one or more of the pins/contacts. Otherwise, check out the camera with one of your other lenses. If it works okay, then send the Sigma 70-300 in for repair. Also, make sure your focusing switch is in the proper position and not in between settings.
1) make sure your battery is fully charged. 2) make sure you have enough ambient light or that you've enabled AF assist. 3) make sure your object has sufficient contrast (i.e. something to focus on!) 4) if none of these work, switch to manual focusing.
Cost is what comes to mind. I forgot all about that, it was a cool idea, however I can't imagine what it would be like for conventional vehicles to be driving on the smooth metal surface that the suspension system needs for the magnets to repulse. lol lots of saved lives in bose suspension cars and everyone else is driving on a glass-like surface.
