Question:

1989 auto jetta transmission?

does anyone know howm much transmission fulid goes into the tranny how much it holds?

Answer:

the only auto transmission problems i heard was for the 98-02 accords but for the rest no similar problems all transmissions also dont go out from itself unless its high mileage but can be affected from the driver itself because of the maintence it needs to run.
honda transmission problems are no different than every other car.they all have them if you buy a honda get one from dealer and get a good warranty and make sure it covers everything on the warranty you want it to
the problem isnt the transmissions, its the clutches. the majority of most of the hondas are manual transmissions. wich means that there clutches get worn out quicker. reasons like people just leave there foot on the clutch when they drive. people drive these cars like they are all racers. high mileage can also play a factor. if your loking to buy a honda then you should be fine. there parts are cheap and they are easier to work on. just take care of your car and if you want to drive it like a race car then put the correct performance parts in. or youll just have another car with a worn out clutch. hoped i helped
It's going to be about 3qts.
A total fluid change is about 6.2 qts. If you are draining the oil from the pan it is about 3.1 quarts. There is 2 parts to the transmission. The Main part, and the Differential. The Differential uses 90wt gear lube and takes about a pint. The ATF fluid is Dextron III
