I'm not sure what it could be for sure but it could be the hook up to the windshield wipers on the truck. my friend had the same thing happen and she just had to get new windshield wiper hook ups.
The wiper motor is working. If the linkage isn't working, you in basic terms hear the sound of the wiper motor. If the wiper motor isn't working, examine the fuse first, then the wiper motor. Wiper motor could desire to final the existence of the automobile. i replace my wipers earlier, so as that it could accomodate a much better length on the motive force side. I did some experiments and it artwork. I had an identical when I did my experiments with my wiper. the clarification is i'm attempting to set the wiper palms that I forgot to screw the nuts on. Your passenger side nut is unfastened. you may desire to screw it tight. some vehicles you may desire to open the hide to uncovered the nut. in case you spot an illustration on the hollow under the wiper arm once you bumped off it, this is malicious software out, then you definitely could desire to replaced the wiper arm.
Has to be the ignition switch or the wiring going TO the ignition switch. If all else fails you can take a test light to the fuse box and find an empty fuse that turns on and off with the key and run the hot wire from your wiper unit inside to that fuse. that way you will get power when the key is on and not when the key is off. Get a test light and probe around in the fuse box for a proper place to hook your hot wire. probe and then switch the key on and off. and hook into that circuit (the proper one that comes on and off with the key). you might want to put in a fuseable link if it isnt fused.
