Question:

1991 Ford Escort tire pressure?

What should the tire pressure be for a 1991 Ford Escort LX? I cannot find it on the sticker on the door.

Answer:

where do I check the transmission fluid on a mustang gt 5 speed
1999 Chevy S-10 truck? Would transmission fluid add to the truck's performance of not shifting properly?
If your truck has a T-5 5-speed, it is clearanced for use with automatic transmission fluid. Look for aplug in the passenger side about halfway down the case. The bottom plug is a drain. The upper plug is the filler. Add fluid thru that hole until it runs back out.
I'd go with what DoggFishEgg said. Do NOT ever use the pressure stated on the tyre itself. That is the maximum recommended pressure that the tyre is designed to take, and will always be a lot higher than the pressure recommended for any car that tyre is fitted to.
Check the tires themselves. They should have a reccomended pressure in raised lettering on them next to the model number. Usually this is found near the rim. A typical tire requires between 30 and 35 psi, but check the tire itself to be sure.
