So I just bought a used ford explorer. It has goodyear tracker 2 tires on there. I don‘t think they are that great.They seem to have a problem on the freeway, causing the steering wheel to shake at 65+mph, and I beleive it is the tires because the tires seem to have a vibration issue around 60-65. Anyone tell me how good these are? They‘re from walmart.
sounds like a balance issue more than a tire issue. get your tires rebalanced before condemning the tires. Rumor is in the business that clubs like Walmart, Sams, BJ's and what not, all get second runs of tires which are (by definition) not first run quality manufactured tires. but like i said. Try a rotate and balance before replacing the tires. Good luck. I've never been a fan of Goodyear tires anyways. If you're on a budget try a Kumho tire. Do some research on tire rack.
