Answer:

Was your wife given an employee handbook when she was hired? If so, does she still have it? If not, can you get a copy? See what that says about the subject or at least about harrassment. Call a local attorney, usually they'll give an initial conference gratis, but check before you make an appointment.
Seeing that he was transferred to a different store, it probably wasn't THAT big of a deal what he did. But I could be wrong How did he assault her?? Because if he hurt her physically, I would definitely sue, but if he only said some mean stuff to her, I'd forget about it. It all depends on what he did.
What would you hope to gain? Do you honestly think a lawyer would take this case and go up against walmart who has more lawyers at their disposal that you could count. If this was such an assault, why did you not file charges in the court? That is where you would get better results.
Co2 is carbon dioxide, which puts out most fires which do not have their own oxygen supply. and since it is a gas and not liquid it is safe for electrical. I would just be careful for liquid fuel since the force of the gas coming out can spread the liquid. IE a chip pan fire, with hot oil spraying you can be injured or spread the fire if not thinking, as in turning off the heat source. but the best in a car or home, a as long as you remember that also you need oxygen as well as the fire, so tackle and get out fast before you collapse, leave the real fires to the fire brigade. you endanger yours and their life's. If you are still not sure ask your local fire station they will help you understand
If they transferred the other employee to another store, they have taken measures necessary to protect your wife from him. You don't have any damages stemming from the fact that he wasn't fired. Your suit should be against the employee, or if Wal-Mart should have known that he was dangerous, against Wal-Mart for not preventing the initial attack. Their choice of disciplinary measures does not directly affect your wife, so it would not present a cause of action for you.
