I just bought a 1996 Mustang with a 3.8L v6. I want to put a exhaust system that is loud and deep. I was thinking about the Flowmaster 40 series with off-road X-pipes. But not really sure. Does anyone have anymore suggestions?
Just go to Youtube. Type MUSTANG V6 EXHAUST in the search box and listen to the millions of V6 Mustangs with exhaust work in the videos. Chose what sounds best to you. Keep in mind it's still just a V6 no matter how loud you make it and they're not fast. GT/Cobra owners (like myself and many others) can't stand V6ers doing exhaust mods because they make us look bad. The average car guy will say Look at that V6 Mustang. The owner must wish he had a V8 instead. Sounds like a riceburner.
