Answer:

I am 57, and I plan on riding as long as I can. In fact, I have been looking at sidecars just in case the time comes when I feel I can't hold the two wheels up.I love riding, and I believe in doing what you like while you are able to enjoy it. Have no regrets! EDIT: I have a couple male friends that I have rode with for years. They are both close to 70 years old and still riding. They said why give it up as long as you are able.
Lord love a duck, I've never heard anyone putting down a senior rider. They look at the old guy in awe. Always have, always will. We've got guys riding that are up into their 70's and the gals are still trying to snag 'em. The woman who inspired me (30 years ago) to get my own and ride was age 72 and full of enthusiasm for life and the open road. Fact is, the older guys are looser, more at ease, better looking and aren't anal retentive.
I'm with you! I'm not quite 60 yet but I ride my bike almost every day. I consider it my primary form of transportation. I only take the car when it rains or when I need to carry something big. Here in California you can ride all year round. And there are a lot of old graybeards riding bikes! I even see them on sportbikes! Hell, at our age it's about the only thing left that we can do that's fun! 8^)
Hot water heat boiler. Hot air heat furnace. Running water through an unheated crawl space can lead to frozen lines and burst pipes in most northern locations. Heated lines, such as feed lines to in floor heating systems would work if installed and insulated properly, but a cold line TO the boiler? Not so much a good idea. Al
No matter what we see looking back at us in the mirror, when the twin Vee starts rumbling, and one hits the shifter, and releases the clutch, we are young againI still love to ride the country roads in the warm afternoon, and the hard lean into a curve still thrills meThere is something about the wind in your face, the roar of the engine, and the rush of the roadIt has always been there, and always willI can't make the long ride anymore, 150 miles is torture to me nowbut even after thirty years, a ride is so pleasing..
