Ive had a set of 20s with 245.35.20s on em.two of my front rims cracked from potholes in the last 6 months so I asked the tech why does it keep happening. He suggested bigger tires uld only put 245.40.20 on the back but had to order 18s for the front to add some more room.sooo what type of tire should I use? 235.45.18s? Or 235.50.18? Idk.
The suspension system of your Cadillac CTS was not designed to run staggered sized wheels and tires. And to stay within Cadillac specs you do indeed need to be using 245/35ZR20 (95Y) XL sized tires. The quality of the tires will make all the difference. If you are not using XL tires that are of top quality your problem will continue.
