I have a 2000 dodge neon. The wheel is loose. Is this normal? If not, can I get it fixed and how? PLEASE HELP!
you should be able.all it does is it gives you more horsepower and cleaner air. be careful that its always dry
a tie rod end either the inner or out, depending on how hard the curb was hit you may have damaged the steering rack. if the wheel does not respond to steering have it towed to a shop it is too dangerous to drive.
Describe where it is loose . Is it the wheel itself ? Or the column ? Is it a lot of play in the front end ? If you give us a little more info we could narrow it down for you . Most things can be tightened up fairly easily .
if its the steering wheel its self loose you may have to have a shop repair the steering column in it,or someone may have removed the wheel at one time and not got it tight enough when they installed it,if its just the column loose that can be repaired, but have it checked we don't have no way of seeing what your talking about on it,does it move up and down or from side to side real easy ,you need to let us know this part of it,good luck.
