Well the outer tie rods of my 2000 ford f150 5.4 liter 2wd went bad. So I got 2 new tie rod ends from O'Reillys and before I put them on I compared them with the old ones and they looked almost exactly the same. The first problem I ran into was that for some reason they just wouldn't tighten up. I've got them tightened down to the point where the boots are almost bursting. They seem tight when you shake the tire or the tie rod but they never bottomed out in the taper. Now going straight down the road the truck drives straight but you can hear a tire squeak with every bump and when you are at low speeds and turning sharply the truck shifts and the steering feels loose. Like I said the new tie rods looked almost exact to the old ones. Anyone have any ideas?
freon copper and water copper is 2 diff peeps sized different the id of the water is the od of the copper or was that the other way round ? lol
Yes - Just saw that article !! My first thought is that drivers will get used to the illusions, maybe not check to make sure it is a painting or the real thing.I don't like it .
That's going to cause people to slam on their brakes and get rear ended. Some one with a weak heart will have a heart attack.
Yeah, I read that article. It is an awful idea. The only thing it does is perpetuate fear and paranoia amongst the drivers. The drivers will be scared crapless and they might even veer off the road because of this dumb 3-D illusion. It's a bad idea no matter how you look at it.
