Sad but true story. Picture this, a fire in the fireplace, nice eh? Well, my husband accidentally closed the damper so the house was filling with smoke rapidly. He didn't realize the damper was closed, thought it was bad wood (or something??) grabbed the extinguisher and put out the fire. What a MESS. Those things are a one time use ya know. Took me a whole day to clean up.
