My Mits Galant 2002 68,000 miles. doors wont stay locked. The door locks fine but can be opened by just pulling the handle or inserting and object into key hole. The locks then try to open and close for about 10 seconds. Car drives fine. Also just cleared a P0135 (02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunctionank One/Sensor One).
That beeping is telling you that they are running on battery power and the batteries need to be replaced.

so the idea is to make the other 2 houses move to safety if one catches fire? I would not use wheels (as such) personally. I would think more of puting the houses on rails, and slide along the rails to safety. You could use something like drawer runners for this in your project. Then connect the houses by a cord, and use a motor to wind the cord. Use a switch instead of a smoke detector - this should be fine - a real smoke detector is simply a switch which is operated when the detector sees smoke. In a demonstration project, then I would think it is fine to use a switch instead. If not, then use a battery operated smoke alarm with a relay output.
