I want to know is the Charger and Road Runner the same car?

The RR was Plymouth's bare-bones hot rod. Meanwhile, the Charger was Dodge's specialty coupe that could be tailored for someone who wanted to cruise in style or hit the dragstrip. Hence, the Charger could be equipped as an economy car with the Slant Six or a full-zoot racer with the 426 Hemi. No they are not. Charger is manufactured by Dodge and the Road runnner is manufactured by Plymouth. They are both B-body cars and are very simmilar but not the same!
