For Some odd reason My wire harness is getting So hot that You can Not touch it. The car Only had 90 thousand miles on it. I found a wire what I belive goes to the Oxgen sensor that is melted. But also the Major problem is My transmission decide to quit. I am thinking it had to do with the Wire harness. It is getting really hot. Has anyone ever had this problem before with Cadillac? Code is P076. I was told that it is rare for this to happen. And if the wiring is getting hot They bet that is is a Melted wire someplace. How hard is it to replace the wire harness and does anyone No where I could purchase one. ? Thank you for Your time and Please please please help. My car is just sitting in the driveway now for the last two months. I have Ms and I was just told My eyes are Progressing to where I am going to end up blind. A wire harness should cost over a few hundred theres a website that sells them for easy installation called painless harness. Dont know if they have your cars harness just givin some info.
