Answer:

a crane P lifts a car upto a certain height in 1 minute. another crane Q lifts the same car upto the same height in 2 minutes. Work weight of car * distance raised Since both cranes raised the same car, both cranes did the same amount of work. Since both cranes did the same amount of work, both cranes exerted the same amount of energy. The fuel is the source of the energy. Since both cranes consumed the same amount of fuel!! Power Work ÷ time Crane P did the work in ? the time of Crane Q, so crane supplied two times more power than crane Q. The operator of Crane P had to rush to the restroom as his name implies!! Ha Ha statements- 1. crane P consumes two times more fuel than crane Q False 2. crane P supplies two times more power than crane Q True choose the correct answer- a. statement (1) is true while statement (2) is false. b. statement (1) is false while statement (2) is true. c. both statements are true. d. both statements are false
START with a bike riding school, like Motorcycle Safety Foundation, their on the web. After classes, buy a smallish GOOD used bike. There is a price floor on used bikes, bikes hit the floor and the price stabilizes for years so an '02 is the same price as a '99, look around, get help from a biker, and buy the BEST bike available for the money. After a year sell it to another beginner for the same price you paid, 1 years experience free! Then you will know what you want and can go make a better choice. Beginners don't crash, they just fall over at slow speed. Don't buy the PRETTY bike get 1 with Character flaws.
Why are you sooo nervous about riding? Some part of you chose to take the MSF class, which was a very smart thing to do. Just remember what you learned in class and you;ll be fine. Don't drive over your limit and try to ride with other people cause you'll pick up more experience that way and have a lot fun at the same time. I'm on the east coast and ride all year round, only time I don't ride is when it's snowing or freezing rain and stuff like that. When you go and buy a ride test ride, that's all I can recommend before you buy and ask a lot of questions. Good luck and be safe.
man, I'm doing everyone's homework tonight, lets break this down. P lifts x to z in 1 min Q lifts x to z in 2 min P's fuel is 2* Q's fuel P's Power is 2* Q's power P is 2* faster then Q so does 2* the fuel for 2* the power over half the time sound right? does to me so I'd say c. both are true.
Correct statement: b. statement (1) is false while statement (2) is true.
