No, it's not a sex dream xD basically the title says it allMe and my crush (who is also a good friend of mineaawkwaaard :S) were in my house (everything looked closer together and whiter for some reason) and we were sitting at my table next to the kitchen together and staring into each others eyesHe went to the fridge and got out a big bowl of strawberries (I also saw strawberry smoothies underneath them lol) and we started to eat themI was a bit messy at first, but then got the hang of it and ate them a bit more delicatelyThen we stared into each others eyes for a while longerAfter a while, my mum came to pick me up, and she was really angry for some reasonWe drove through a big dark tunnel into a parking lot then went into a HUGE elevator with doors all around it, and they all opened and closed one at a time with lots of people walking by, then the dream endedCan anyone tell me what this means? I had this problem and I just cut cardboard the same size and duct taped itIt works greatAlso I have 14 inof insulation in my atticThat is not the problem.
They are few ways of doing thisThe cheapest is by inserting a piece of tied corning fiberglass insulation on the vent you need to blockThe most efficient one and easy to go back and for (one way or the other) is installing custom magnetic register platesThey come on different sizes to fit any registerYou just place'em over the registers and the magnetic field keep'em on placeYou can buy these on most stores like Lowes or Home DepotGood luck.!
If you can pull off your vents, you could cut some thick cardboard to fit the vent openings and duct tape them thus completely sealing up the openings or just cover the vents with the cardboard and tapeCeiling fans in each bedroom will also help to cool off this areaGood Luck
Yes, you can duct tape a piece of a heavy duty garbage bag (3 or 4 mil) over the vents to keep the cool air from leaking outAlso check the rest of the cool air supply ductwork to make sure their are no other leaksMaybe get a professional to come in do that for you if you can't do it yourselfBut keep in mind the top floor is always going to be warmerI have a similar problem in my house, the air has to travel further the farther the cool air has to travel, the warmer it becomesCouple that w/ the fact that the top floors are going to be warmer because heat rises it can be a struggle to keep the top floors cool enough in the heat of the summerThat's one reason why we decided our next house is only going to be 1 floor!
