Question:

A great store for parties?

I need a great store to buy the following: styrofoam balls, yarn, fabrics, sewing machine, poster boards, tape, and party decorationsI want to be cheap because my friend and I are planning a HUGE double birthday party that includes ALOT of crazy stuffWe did our caculations and figured it would be at least $500So we started saving alot and our parents will only chip in $100 eachSo, we decided to make sure we went to the cheapest store possible for the things we needed the leastBut if you know any stores that have the following and are cheap, please let me know!

Answer:

clean it and wrap in foil just before you put it on the grill, usually takes about ten minutes depending on how crunchy you want itmy mom usually boils it first for about 4 min then grills it just long enough to get the flavor
WOW, memories, we put the corn in the husks on the grill! Yep, right on the bar-b-q and cooked it until done, so tastey, makes my mouth water, wish it was Corn season here :0)
Ya dont have to do nutting, just soak the husks shortly before you put them on a grill or next to the coals on your campfireThe steam from the soaked husks help cook the cornThat way YOU dont have to shuck the corn either, the individual gets to!
I agree with the others that said leave them in the husksThe only thing I would add is to trim off the silk that sticks out of the top of the earit burns and has a sorta funky sweet smellIf you have already shucked them, then I would rub them with a pat of butter, wrap them in foil and grill em off Eaither way takes about the same length of time 30-40 minutes on a hot grill.
From your list, the largest expense will be the sewing machineSee if you can borrow one from a friend, or use the home economics machines at schoolWalMart is likely to have the cheapest prices on most of your items, but by all means price-shop at Hobby Lobby or Michaels as wellJoAnns carries a lot of fabrics and crafts, too.
