Question:

a solution of copper (II) sulfate is spilled onto a sheet of freshly polished aluminum metal?

can anyone solve these SINGLE REPLACEMENT REACTIONS?1. a solution of copper (II) sulfate is spilled onto a sheet of freshly polished aluminum metal2. a strip of copper is immersed in dilute nitric acid3. a piece of aluminum metal is added to a solution of silver nitrate4. a small piece of magnesium metal is added to a dilute solution of hydrochloric acid5. a piece of zinc is added to a solution of sulfuric acidFIRST ONE TO ANSWER ALL 5 REACTION (WRITE OUT THE REACTIONS) CORRECTLY WILL GET 10 PTS!

Answer:

yess it will im not shure how much but i would sugest trying some thing diffrent like pluming pipe befor trying copper
when u shut the valve very quick, it creates a water hammer for a pipe and the water hammer travels back and forth until it dies down.
1) 3 CuSO4 + 2 Al -- Al2(SO4)3 + 3 Cu 2) Cu + 2 HNO3 -- Cu(NO3)2 + H2 3) Al + 3 AgNO3 -- Al(NO3)3 + 3 Ag 4) Mg + 2 HCl -- Mg(Cl)2 + H2 5) Zn + H2SO4 -- ZnSO4 + H2
1. a solution of copper (II) sulfate is spilled onto a sheet of freshly polished aluminum metal 2Al + 3 CuSO4 ----- Al2(SO4)3 + 3Cu 2. a strip of copper is immersed in dilute nitric acid Cu + 4HNO3 → Cu(NO3)2 + 2NO2 + 2H2O (This is an oxidation-reduction reaction . not single replacement.) 3. a piece of aluminum metal is added to a solution of silver nitrate Al + 3AgNO3 -------- Al(NO3)3 + 3Ag 4. a small piece of magnesium metal is added to a dilute solution of hydrochloric acid Mg + 2 HCl ------- MgCl2 + H2 5. a piece of zinc is added to a solution of sulfuric acid Zn + H2SO4 ------------ ZnSO4 + H2
1. 3CuSO4 + 2Al - 3Cu + Al2(SO4)3 2. Cu+ 2HNO3 - Cu(NO3)2 + H2 3. Al + 3AgNO3 - Al(NO3)3 + 3Ag 4. Mg + 2HCl - MgCl2 + H2 5. Zn + H2SO4 - ZnSO4 + H2
