Question:

After adding attic insulation, should I cover opening from upstairs room into attic?

The attic of my 2 story house needs better insulationI can see the roof boards from an unused upstairs room, through a triangular shaped opening to the atticThe attic floor itself is insulated, but the ~5 sq ft opening into the attic makes me think a lot of heat is flowing out of the houseShould I cover this opening, or do something else?

Answer:

try to use a mega hold mousse and always spray hair with hairspray before curling itit keeps the curls longer btw always use a heat protectantcurling your hair will kill it with out heat protection.
If the entry is open you certainly need to cover it with a door or trap door, even a sheet of plywoodIf not, you could put ten feet of insulation in the attic for nothingIf it is already has a door you can staple fiberglass bats to the topside so that they overlap the edges and cover the cracks when the door is shut.
maybe try thinning your hair? I use lots of hairspray and cremes to define and keep my curls bouncy before and after i blow dry them.
the best way is just to tie your wet hair in small buns, and then blow dry it.I hate to damage my hair so i've been using this method for a long time and it always works.however, you might needa experiment a bit on how tight you want your bun to be.the looser the bun, you'll get loose curls.go on youtube and you'll be able to find many many videos on that!hope i helped!
