If the system hasn't been turned off it should automatically reinflate as soon as the key is turned on. You should hear the pump running. If the pump doesn't run you might need a new pump or a new computer that controls the system. If it reinflates but settles back down there's a leak that must be found and fixed. Leaks are almost always a leak in an airbag, about a $500 repair on most Lincolns.
Either the air pump under the car is bad or the lines to the air bags have leaks.
SOMEWHERE easily reachable from the trunk is a Schrader valve, like a tire stem. There is probably a leak in 1 or more of the fittings.
