Question:

All important question of the day 238?

Do I have a Rubber Ducky stalker? And why do they insist on thumbing down my answerers?'Wolf Pack' members, go sick 'em

Answer:

when a light goes out do you change the light switch? or do you check the bulb? t -stat is the switch heater is the bulb have it checked by a tech people first go to t-stat and create more problems then they had in the first place sounds like a dirty filter or evap coil kicking out on thermal overload
I would replace the thermostat first.if after that it still is acting up, then perhaps there is something wrong with the furnace itself but it sounds like it's the thermostat.
I'm surprised that there aren't more old hippies out there but here goes the pipe desired is all lamp parts, Mostly 1/8 Thurough 3/8 pipe you will need nipples ( threaded pipe) a decorative elbow. the bowl is a bell reducerr that expands to 3/8 you might also use a 3/8 pipe for the center section to stash bud in so it gets all resiny. the mouth piece is a 1/8 pipe and is the piece that would hold a light fixture with a hole in it for the chain to pass through. don't forget the brass screen for the full retro experience. or you can save the brain damage for later and go to your local head shop. most still sell these pipes and they are dirt cheap like 3 bucks on up less than you can get the parts for at lowes .if you insist on building it then your best bet is a lamp supply store
I really doubt that it is a problem with your thermostat. The problem is more likely to be in your furnace. First make sure that the temperature at the thermostat is not reaching 70. It may be that the thermostat was not located properly. You can rule out the thermostat by simply connecting the two wires in back of the thermostat directly together. If the furnace remains on and your house gets warm without the furnace shutting down, then it is the thermostat. REMEMBER TO DISCONNECT THE WIRES AFTER THE TEST OR YOUR FURNACE WILL RUN CONTINUOUSLY. I will assume that you have checked the furnace filter, as a dirty filter can decrease circulation. Ensure that the burner is clean and operating properly. You might also wish to ensure that the furnace exhaust is clear. I hope you have a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home. It is a wise investment, as carbon monoxide is odorless, and deadly. If the furnace shuts down with a direct connection at the thermostat, you should probably have a technician come to check out your furnace. It is probably shutting down from a malfunction for safety. And that is something that you probably shouldn't try to repair yourself. Try to find a reputable repair service, check the BBB for any complaints, and there are many on-line sources as well. There are some businesses that will take advantage of the situation. Look them up on-line and see if they have had any complaints. Best of luck, It sux to be cold
