Question:

Alternative to specially formulated rose soil?

I bought a $5 rose bush (less than 5gal) from Lowe‘s in their discount section last month. It was hacked all the way back to nubs. I got it growing again and have a few buds and one flourishing flower. However, I just can‘t bring myself to spend $5+ for a big bag of special rose soil for a 5gal new potting. I‘ve been reading about rose soils and it‘s all so esoteric to me. If I tell you what I have, will you tell me the mixture that might be second best? In case it helps, I‘ll list everything I have (soil is all Miracle Grow brand):Sphagnum peet mossMoisture control potting soilCactus and succulent mixOrganic potting soilPerliteVermiculite+ Osmocote Rose fertilizer+ Acidifier (I believe it‘s for azaleas, I use on a Japanese maple)

Answer:

that would depend on the application of the new floor. will you putting a wire mesh. if using wire mesh you will 1st lay felt paper as a vapor barrier then nail the mesh to the floor. and then cover it with a level coat of cement when that has set up at that point you can butter the back of your tile and apply them to the floor. or you could use a fiber rock or Hardy board and screw then down to the existing floor. and then butter your new tile to the backer board.i would not recommend laying your tile directly to the vinyl foo.
It's ok to cover it. The problem you would run into with removing the vinyl would be the glue used causes the subfloor to be uneven and bumpy.
Compost that has become soilish also works great. Just scrape away the top green and dig into the more dirt looking stuff. That is what composts do.change green to soil. (the green also has the fertilizer in it that you used to fertilize the lawn. Cows do the same thing, they eat green and what comes out is brown(hot fertilizer) you want the patties that are a couple of months old and still laying out in the pasture.
They need a soil that drains well but also retains moisturenot contradictory. Most good potting soils do the job as long as the container has enough drainage holes in the bottom. I agree, don't go special soil, potting soil generic is fine.
It relies on the best of the meals. A frequent food or grocery store company like Iams, Pedigree or Beneiful and full of fillers and by means of merchandise. There is little or no meat in them. By way of-merchandise are the non meat materials of an animal. It includes feet, feathers, ears, snouts, beaks and different non digestible ingredients. Puppies need meat to thrive. Via-products are not meat and must not be the most important meat in a meals. There are some superb commercially available dog meals. These include a few meats for various sources (chicken, fish, red meat and so forth) and are in meal or average type. Some are grain free and just right for dogs. Residence made meals can fluctuate as much as commercially on hand meals. But a residence made meals is also higher as there would be no chemical substances and the sources can be managed. Not all of the methods of feeding are the equal.
