Talking from personal experienceI'd rather get hit by a person wearing boxing gloveslol. As for the advantage and disadvantage part, wearing boxing gloves doesn't allow you to grapple to well. Mma gloves allow you to do both pretty well and provide padding so it's not as bad just using bear fist. Bear fist wellunless you are use to it it can posibly hurt more from punching someone as to when you were wearing the gloves but you have more freedom to move your fingers and stuff.
