I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them yet? Looking for processor and they are cheaper. I heard the 8core verison hate issues . So was looking seeing if anyone used. The 4 or 6core version? I going to be using it for gaming/ anything else. Otherwise I'm going to use intel core 5 2500 or 2550k sandybridge.
All I know in regards to bulldozer is that it pulls more power than the intel equivalent unless both CPUs are maxxed(then its about the same). Also, intel architecture is better.. the quad core i5-2500 is faster than the Bulldozer 6core which I don't remember the name atm
From everything I've read (not personal experience) the i5 2500K is the CPU to go with at the moment for gaming on a budget. It's the CPU I will be buying when I build a new gaming rig this spring.
