Question:

Ans. No.1 helped me but how do I cut and replace the non-removavble copper pipe?

The copper pipe on my water heater is leaking, its not the SS flexable line it‘s the other copper line. How do I replace that one, I‘m a single female with limited funds!

Answer:

If it is copper, it is a soldering job. Find someone to do the work that has the tools.
put coilover, or adjustable system. you can get bigger tire for more comfort
Get a male with plumbing experience and tools. You may have to shut off the water pressure before you even can begin. Most likely reason the copper is leaking is because the water tank got moved(banged against)(laundry hanging off the pipes) and cracked the solder connections. These are not for moving around.
I haven't seen copper pipe that wasn't sweat soldered. It isn't difficult to do, but takes some practice to do it right. If your funds are limited, don't call a plumber, Find a friend that is familiar with it and ask for a favor. It may cost you a little for parts and a dinner, or six pack, for the labor. Your married friends have husbands. Some of them can be pretty handy to know.
