Question:

anybody know how to generate 353kw of electric power for a motor that will run a car?

Its called a pancake motor. it generates 500 hp at 6500rpm for 60 seconds. and 420ftlbs of torque. oh also i like to mention its only 8in. by 12.5in. and 147lbs in wieght. wow. i hope to make a race car run from this powerful motor. and when i can figure out how to generate 2000kw in a car then i could synchronize 3 of theses motors and drag race this car. cool huh.

nope, ain't gonna happen. first you would have your own class with no one to race or they will say internal combustion engines only. second what you gain in power you will lose in battery weight and finally like putting a jet engine in a car, it will be an oddity at best.
Induction generators are mainly used with wind turbines. They are often double fed, with output from the rotor and stator, and connected to the grid. The grid provides the excitation, and electronics controls the frequency and excitation, power flow and synchronisation. Induction generators are not the same as conventional synchronous generators. They are excited by their own AC output (using capacitors to shift the phase. They could also be used to parallel with another AC supply, using it to excite the rotor. The basic methods described in home built guides have some issues - you wouldn't be likely to run your Air Conditioner successfully on such a generator. Sometimes induction motors are modified by adding permanent magnets to the rotor, and used as a synchronous generator.
humm sound like you and i have sort of the same idea except i was thinking about a regular car. i thought the weak link was the electric motors, sound like you have that handled, now for the power plant must be small and light i was thinking of a small jet engine like the ones used for RC models with a direct drive to hydraulics that turn a generator sort of link a turbo prop with a reduction gear box. not sure why GE is not using this for there large diesel locomotives, i know that jet engines are used on ships and for a power plant some times such as a APU used on 747 and C-5 aircraft. if this works please e mail me i want to see this happen.
