Excellent answer from Kim, very valid pointsIt appears that someone who may not really understand the processes involved has got themselves confused and decided that recycling aluminium isn’t such a good thingBut as Kim says, recycling saves a huge amount of energy, no need to extract and process the raw materials, and costs less.
There is always some waste involved in any industrial activityThe truth is that recycling aluminum takes FAR less energy and produces far less waste that mining and producing NEW aluminum.
