Question:

Anyone know how much it could potentially cost to change a suspension on a 95 S10?

I have a 1995 Chevy S10, and it‘s on an air shock suspension system and I hate it. I want a regular suspension that keeps my truck over a foot off the ground. I want it to be regular height. It‘s killing me. Any ideas on prices for this change?

Answer:

Call an auto specialty shop and ask for an estimate.
If you just have the outlet pipe , (I hope you've taped a bag around it!), I would just get as good a job as you can. Make sure all the pieces you use have grout around them - and that they are level. The best way is to use a small tile saw with a round blade. Cut two C shapes - or snap one tile - use the saw to cut the C shapes, and a tile file to smooth the edges - leaving room for a good bead of grout. You only have to do this once - so get it right.
Thats a great idea of using four smaller pieces of tile to solve this, and if you are able to do this with your scoring saw or nips go ahead that is the way to go. careful ceramic will break on your very easily in this situation, so you may need a few more tiles.
Sell it and buy one that suite needs or wants. Cheaper.
the toilet needs to be taken off the flange and the tile gets cut up to the flange. That is to do it properly, unless you want to listen to some of the weekend warriors on here who have seen a show on tv and know it all. And no,you dont need a flange extender, just buy a new wax ring with a pvc insert in it.
