Question:

Anyone know the best windshield wiper blades for 2010 GMC Terrain SLT2 W/3.0L V6.?

This small to medium size SUV is located in Western NY so there will most likely be lots of freezing rain, and snow etc.Does anyone know of a all season , long lasting full set of 3 wiper blades. Driver front, Passenger front, and rear wiper as well. Or is it best to change the blades when the winter seasons begin and again when spring arrives ? Thank you all for all the information.

Answer:

RainX Latitude wipers are extremely good quality for the money. However, any brand and model of wipers will only last so long. If you can get a set to last a full year you will be doing good. Simply swap them out when needed.
i use rain-x but bosch sells the best of the best. A great tip for ice/rain issues buy some wax/glass cleaner. Clean all the windows, put wax on them like the body of the car buff it off and you just water proofed your windows I heard its easier to de-ice also (:
tires on front should always be the same pressure .tires on rear both the same pressures you will find exact pressures in hand book for front and rear they will possibly be diffrent pressures for front and rear if not sure phone main dealer or tire outlet they will tell you for sure.all the best .
I used Bosch Icon on one of my cars, it's been almost 3 years and their starting to go(they don't wipe crystal clear anymore). I had no issues with them in the winter as long as it didn't have TOO much ice build up under the blade. Never had any issues with snow/ice being on the frame due to it's beam design. Alot of the cheaper blades you pick up(one's with metal arms) will tend to freeze up when ice/snow hits them, causing they to become useless. Second up are Rain-X wiper blades. They didn't last as long as the Icons but they did repel rain well. I'm currently using cheap walmart/basic bosch wipers as it's not snowing in NY currently.
