But there is also the method of adding raw water into the raw meal ball, and then feeding it into the kiln to calcine the clinker. That is called semi dry process, and it is still one of dry production.1.2 wet production; after feeding raw material with water powder into raw slurry, feed into wet kiln to calcine mature material. There is also a method of making raw material blocks into the kiln and calcining the mature material after dehydration of raw slurry prepared by wet process, which is called semi wet method and still belongs to wet production.The main advantage of dry production is low heat consumption (such as dry kiln with preheater, clinker heat consumption is only 3140~3768 Jiao / kg), the disadvantage is that raw material composition is not uniform, the workshop dust is large, the power consumption is higher. Wet production has the advantages of simple operation, easy control of raw material components, good quality of products, easy delivery of slurry, little dust in workshop, and the disadvantage of high heat consumption (clinker heat consumption is usually 5234~6490 Jiao / kg).
