Question:

Are Borbet wheels good?

My Honda Accord desperately needs new wheels. Whoever owned the car before me must‘ve hit every curb in the state and there are literally scuffs and deep scrapes on every wheel. Plus they obviously didn‘t care for them as the clear coat is peeling off on 3 of the wheels. The wheels are in such bad shape that my tires are constantly losing air and I‘m tired of filling them every single day. So, I just visited my local tire shop and the guy really recommends this set of Borbet type CA wheel for my car. they look similar to Honda‘s factory alloy so the design is good. but I‘ve never heard of Borbet. I can‘t seem to find much on the internet other than they‘re a premium European brand but no one I know (even guy friends who are really into cars) has even heard of these wheels. Is this really a good wheel? This is going to cost over $500, so I want to be sure before I buy Thanks for advice )

Borbets are a good bang for buck.
Borbet wheels usually r sold as stock wheels on high end eourpean cars. they r made 2 b lightweight but durable. well on smooth road conditions. From my knowledge of the brand it has been around since the early 80's when i first installed them on a honda accord. as far as your set of wheels that leak, have your tire tech 2 smooth the bead where the tire meetz the rim and ur air pressure lost issues will be resolved.
