Less noisy - the noise comes from the power of the engine, and hand vacs are not as powerful. They would be more like a quiet blender.
I'd say slightly less than a blow dryer. Or maybe about the same. Depending on the brand. :)
Couldn't Tell Ya, All I Know Is Hand Vacuums Are More Convenient To Stick My Cawk In...Cmon No One Likes To Haul A Regular Vacuum Upstairs To Your Room.
Like hair blowers, they are all noisy to a certain extent I don't care what the manufactures say. Any time you have a motor running, you have noise, the bigger they are, the more noise. thanks :)
