Question:

Are the main costs of operating a motorcycle simply tires (8 -10,000 mi.), chain (20,000 mi.) and oil (2-10k)?

. . . with no sensors to wear out, no fuel injectors to wear out, and only a starter and starter relay being the only significant electrical parts to wear, probably only after a lifetime of use.

Answer:

Depending on the age, there can be lots of sensors. My '06 has fuel injection and all the electrical parts that go with it. Injectors (2), O2 sensors (2), a couple of position transducers (rpm, mph), temp sensor, knock sensor Then there's the other costs: registration, inspection, insurance, licensing. There's the cost associated with your safety gear. Initial purchase, upkeep and repair/waterproofing, replacement. All in all, the costs are roughly equal to a car. You may only have two tires, but they cost more and get replaced more often than a car's. Oil and filters are generally replaced more often than a car's.
The baby obviously reflects some element of your life that you are concerned about. You feel like this aspect/situation in your life if fragile and you don't have much hope for it working out. You may have attempted to fix this problem in the past, but you were burned. The situation has caused you a lot of heartache, and you still want to save it, but your subconscious is trying to warn you that it might hurt you again. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that this dream is about a relationship you have had that has hurt you a lot, but you keep working on it despite the fact that it has caused you pain.
Seems like you are heaving trouble or being through pregnancy issues and want a baby desperately but some how are unable to have one of your own. Dont please dont get dis-heart Think positive our Almighty love us more then the love of mothers may be its not a right time for you to have a baby of your own or may be he is testing you or wanted to show/teach you some thing what if he give you a defective child with out skin. how would you feel or if abnormal. or may be its not good for your own health may be it cost your own life it would surely hurt may be thats the reason he dont want to give you that much pain and incomplete feelings. Hold your breath. dont go out of track in your life and with the grace of Almighty things will be fine May you have a peaceful sleep try to sleep on your right side means turn the body on your right where your right check touches the bed or your right arm in that way blood runs in our body very well and our heat gives healthy pumps/beat make sure you use the restroom before bet time Bless you
Also the annual registration costs (nearly $500 here in Australia) The sprockets need changing at the same time as the chain And of course, the fuel to run the bike
Actually you will probably find the MAIN costs to be tags and registration as well as any state inspection and insurance on the bike. Then would come the 3000 mile oil and filter changes, the daily fuel fill ups (if you use the bike for commuting), the cost to do any of the routine maintenance-such as carb cleaning, fuel injector clean/replacement, CDI boxes DO wear out, most somewhere around 100,000 give or take 24,000 miles, shocks, brakes, tires, batteries. Starters generally last the life of the bike, starter relays go as do starter brushes, Rotors and Stator assemblies fail with the stator usually going first, as do voltage regulators. Motorcycle parts are 3X the cost of automotive parts with the paid labor rate being about the same as in automotive work
