I want to know whether there are any hobby stores on Guam, like Hobby Lobby, Jo-Anns etc.Especially interested in scrapbooking and wood craft supplies. Thanks!
YeahThere is a Ben Franklin, however the service there sucks and can get pricey They aren't very knowledgeable with many craft terms or crafts in generalI asked an employee if they had washi paper, she took me to the paper aisle and we stood in front of a package labeled rice paper, she then said, No, we don't have itIt can get pretty frustrating. Some employees there don't know what natural fiber yarn is (they only have acrylic yarn but recently added organic cotton yarn to their stock however it is 10.99) they asked me to clarify what i meant The prices are outrageous, it gets to the point where i feel they are ripping me off, so i don't go there much hoping they will lower their pricesUnfortunately, it's pretty much the only arts and crafts store on Guam, so they rarely lower their prices They have scrapbooking stuffThe papers change often, so if you like a paper design a lot stock up because you might not find it againThe albums are pretty pricey from $8.99-24.99 The fabric area is crappyNo chic fabric pattern in sight and a lot of the materials are man-made.
in case you reside everywhere close to farms with any form of animal, touch themthey might enable you have it for looseotherwise, OKorder, etsy, and craigslist, or your community yarn shoppeople who elect to spin comprehend people who've uncooked wool.
