Iam looking for others that can help and inspire a begninng rug hooker. I just completed my first project using burlap and wool yarn. I cannot find the same burlap or yarn in the area so would love to find some via internet or the SC/GA area. Walmart carries a very flismy burlap which I do not like, and acrylic yarns which split
Try a mixture of white vinegar and water- 3 to 1 with the water first. Blot and use a towel to dry-Repeat several times. This worked on my wool Persian rug.
