Question:

at what temperature do you blanket your horses?

i try not to blanket unless absolutely necessary, and being that this winter's not been too bad, i haven't needed to oftensuggestions?

Answer:

About 35 degrees because my mare is older and my gelding doesn't grow a winter coatEdit-I'm from Pa and so far this winter I haven't had to blanket them too much. They are only turned out when the weather permits.
Reptiles REQUIRE heat lamps to keep them warm! If you're not willing to spend the money on the proper equipment for the health of an animal then you are NOT ready for the responsibility of having oneNo, you can't put a blanket on a reptileIt doesn't work that wayIf you are serious about wanting a reptile for a pet you need to talk to a reputable reptile rescue group in your area if there is one, or go to a pet store and ask questionsGet books from your local library or book store on how to care for reptilesYou'll need to also buy them the proper food too.again, spend money.
NoIt wouldn't helpI use a space heater to keep my bedroom 80 degreesI love the heat lol but if your house gets really cold at night( drops below 65) you will need to invest in something to keep him comfortable.
It would help slightly but would cut off the air so as long as you have a heat mat you will be fine as i don't have a black bulb and mine as quite happy
DH is right, it just docent work that way.
