I own Audi Allroad with air suspension. We are having problems with it--the insurance company is trying to tell us the repairs will not be covered because it‘s a shock problem. Isn‘t the air suspension a different system than the shocks?!
The Allroad has air shocks. Basically instead of the usual pneumatic shocks that are on most cars the Allroad has shocks that are filled by an air compressor to moderate ride height. This allows for lower vehicle height on the highway and higher when on rough roads, etc.
