Question:

Auto Suspension vs Standard Suspension?

Im trying to find a rear drive shaft for my Ford Expediton 97 and found a couple in slavage yards but its asking me what kind of suspsension i have wheter its auto or standard and to be honest i dont have a clue, how would i go about checking this ?

Answer:

north east of yanille or east of fight arena place you can make fast trips and it's close to a bank
If you know where Falador Party Room is, near there is a dungeon, go inside and you will find Iron and Coal Ore, mainly Iron. the nearest bank is west from Falador Party Room. Happy Mining :)
Automatic tranny or manual tranny. The drive shaft will be different links.
Auto or standard would be for the transmission in regards to the driveshaft. That's it. Length is probably different. Edit: Air bag suspension? Seriously? They don't list aftermarket modifications in interchange databases. I don't care what the poster asked in regards to suspension (nor should you), there was no stock air bag suspension in the Expedition, so either the interchange the poster is looking at is incorrect, or the poster is mistaken. The ONLY way I think I could be incorrect is if there is some sort of stock ride-leveling system, but I still don't see how that would affect driveline length at all. Edit Edit: Your links don't work apparently, sorry. Get invalid part or somesuch. Crawl under the truck and look. If it's anything to do with ride height, there will be extra stuff with electrical or air lines running to them connected to the rear axle, shocks, or frame that comes in contact with the axle or springs. No ride height leveling system is going to affect driveline length, so again, can't see even a factory application being different. Do you already have the driveline, even if busted up? Take it to the wrecking yard with you, and match it up. I do that all the time if I am working on some odd project and don't really know what I need that will work with what I have.
