So, you have a spare 14mm nut and you have a 3/8 axle missing a nut?
The nut has to fit the axle, you can't convert without changing the axle, and possibly the hub.
You don't covert the nuts. All the nuts are already converted. Just go and buy a 3/8 nut from some bike shop, not the hardware store.
