I have a 97 civic and the boot on the CV joint is broken and all the lubricant keeps coming out, could that be the reason my car decelerates faster than normal. Because as soon as i get of the gas the car starts slowing down.
The wheel could collapse or just come off and this would bring you to a screeching halt fast.
No, the axle problem will usually just cause some noise (and maybe some vibration). Check your tire pressure lately? There are many things that could cause the deceleration problem.
