Well lets look at it from both views. Would you hire someone that put on their application they gave big discounts to family and friends possibly causing the store to lose money on those items? Especially when there are 100 other people applying for the same job and they never did such a thing? Now lets look at from the other view. You lie. Interviewer calls and finds out you were fired. Now you are a thief and a liar who has no honor at allwhat is next? This is how a criminals life starts. So now is the question. How you get your honor back? How do you get to the point where you didnt just waste the last 4 years of your life and you have to spend the rest of your life covering up that mark by becoming a liar. Only one way i can think of. Go back to the clothing store and speak to the manager that fired you. Ask for your job back and tell him you will pay him back whatever he feels is a reasonable amount (or if you know the actual amount) to be taken out of your check everypay day until the debt is satisfied. Tell him you want the job back so you dont turn into a liar and a theif and eventually end up in a life of crime. If he doesnt hire you back, and you cant get a job in retail anymore because of that blemish, you will need to go into something where they dont really care about your last job, like becoming a car sales man, or real estate agent. (they hire everyone.) In fact one of those jobs is probably good for you as it will teach you about what happens when you give discounts.it cuts into your paycheck.
