I live in Arizona where temps can (and do) hit 118 degrees. I am trying to find the best tire for my 2002 Nomad for these conditions. I am concerned with tire longevity - not necessarily noise or comfort. Any suggestions?
If you or someone you hire can handle the plumbing, it should work. Obviously, the more sunny days you have, the better. I might be tempted to use aluminum foil where you have the tarp and paint the copper black, though.
you are able to no longer fix dry rot. Your tires might desire to get replaced as quickly as a threat. Dry rot potential the rubber has started to become worse, no be counted how good the tread looks. no longer in straight forward terms do you danger a blow-out, yet old tires have much less traction as a results of hardening of the rubber. Your life is properly worth extra advantageous than the cost of a pair tires.
I am in Phoenix and I find that H rated tires work well,H is a good tire for any cruiser and rated at up to 130 M.P.H. Dunlap is good as are Yokohama, and Metzeler. Stay away from Z rated tires out here as they are soft compound and wont last the summer! I am constantly changing tires on sport bikes!
