My son is 18 mo and we're just getting familiar right now.. What chair worked best for all of you?
I would usea simple chair because the other chairs tend to turn into toys they play with, The simpler the better. i am also potty training and have noticed the simpler and less to play with the better, and Ive gotten further that way!! Good Luck!!!
no there is isnt however the ultimate potty is babybjorn, because of the fact for boys the pee shelter is everlasting while everyother sort is detachable and extremely frustation for boys whilst the sit down down to pee. you additionally can get the single which is going over the bathroom, yet babies are afraid they'll fall off. whwn my son became finished he prefer to offload it interior the bathroom himself and he gets to flush it became an engaging time for him, there is no ought to rigidity him to do it , he likes to do it as his advantages for going potty.
i agree that simpler is better at this stage, but a nice trick for when he gets a little older to help with his aim is to put a cheerio in the bowl as a target. never fails.
Your bathroom toilet. It has been proved that children who are potty trained on potty seats or potty chairs tend to wet themselves once in school because they are not used to the toilets and will attempt to hold in their urine rather than admit they need help to steady themselves or because they are simply afraid. None of my nieces or nephews ever used a seat or a chair and my daughter was taught on the toilet as well. I was taught on the toilet too. Teach them right the first time then you won't have to reteach them all over again. Yes, you will have to help them steady themselves for awhile but as a parent it is your job to support your children,.
I use the Safety 1st potty chair, it's has a seat cushion that has a little lip in the front that helps keep the pee in the potty for little boys who learn to pee sitting first and then standing later. It doesn't play music or have smiley faces on it, and the seat cushion can be put on the big potty when he's ready for that, and it also can be used as a step so they can wash their hands when they're older. I bought it at Wal-Mart, and I agree with the other answerers, the simpler, the better.
