which is the best software that can be used for remotely controlling a system (example i can use the computer that is there in my office to control the computer at my home)
JD said it. Yes you absolutely can. Turn off the water at the service, open the lowest faucetts in your house, drain as much water as possible. Stuff your pipes with bread, sand and flux your pipes and fittings, sweat your pipe. Turn your water back on. Don't worry about the bread,it will dissolve and flush out in no time.
You cannot sweat copper with water in it, the steam will keep the lead from sealing. Home Depot now sells Sharkbite copper connectors, it's the best alternative to sweating.
no one will believe this but it works if the water is off and there is still water lingering in it get a small piece of bread and place it in the pipe and it absorbs all the water and allows you to heat it up a plumber showed us and it has worked every time Good luck
I clean the cut edges with sand paper or emory cloth, use the purple primer on both ends to be connected, use either pvc glue (cold water, white pvc, cpvc for cream color pipe for hot water, or both white and cream, or the very fast setting glue, depends on the application), smear it into the fitting and then the pipe, or vise versa, push together and twist 1/4 turn at the same time, and hold in place for a minute to prevent the joint from pushing apart, wait awhile for the joint to set up and use. OR just read the directions on the back of a can of glue, the mfg will know the best way for their product. Hope this helps. Remember this, Home Depot and Lowes and such just hire people to work, some may know a little about what you need, but chances are the guy helping you is from the paint dept or something. Real plumbers and electricians and such don't work at places like that, they work in the real world where the real money in, not for $8.00 and hr. Good luck
It can be done .. If it is not under extreme pressure. Close off what ever valves you can. buy a union the same diameter as the pipe and a tool called a jet sweat. Clean the pipe and union fittings with sand cloth. Put half the union on one end then insert the jet sweat tool into the pipe and tighten till the water stops flowing . Solder that fitting on . Repeat on the other side then turn the union together. Turn the water back on hope that helps
