For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/5Q4hc Your question is actually one of semantics: What is the difference between invent and discover? It seems that a lot of younger people DON'T know the difference! For example, you go into the Science section, and you will see lots of question like Who invented atoms? or Who discovered air? You seem to know the difference. Now go out and find way to TEACH it to otheres less fortunate than yourself.
Diagnosis of a self-levelling suspension by remote control is not possible. First you need the diagnostic machine specific to BMW (a GT1 or Isis/Isid) and knowledge of how to diagnose it. Second, the system is complicated enough that even with the car in the presence of a BMW Tech it would still take time and a lot of effort to do so. For your added info the system is comprised of the following: a) dashboard switch b) control module c) wirings d) pump e) tank with solenoids and valves f) pressure pipes g) 4 or 2 shocks with bellows and valves h) level sensors on axle and/or headlight level sensor Even Nostradamus would have a hard time guessing which is bad.
